It's hard to believe how polished they were at such a young age. When it came to performing, they really were old souls. Brian Epstein deserves credit for that. He's the one who cleaned them up and always believed in them, even after every record label in Great Britain had turned them down. One note though, the Beatles landed on February 5th. They played the Sullivan Show on the 7th. It was my birthday. No, they didn't stop by for cake but I let it go, they had a prior engagement. 😁

Barrett Jackson should forever be ashamed of the slipshod way they accepted the claimed provenance of this car. This car and the one that did carry JFK's body from Andrews to Bethesda were two of the 15 '63 Bonneville ambulances purchased for use at Navy hospitals. The one that actually carried JFK was in storage after being retired in 1980. It was available to Kennedy family for display at the JFK Presidential Library in Boston. The family declined and at their request it was destroyed. The car auctioned by Barrett Jackson is a legitimate Navy ambulance. It had been purchased by a private party, and restored to like new appearance, renumbered to look like the actual Kennedy car, and appeared in a movie about JFK's assassination. The Proffesional Car Society, a group of auto restoration enthusiasts, researched the fate of the original car, and the provenancc of the auction car. The original was indeed dismantled and crushed at an auto salvage yard in Dorchester, MA in1986... fully documented on paper and in photographs . The evidence proved conclusively... Excellent footage of steam locomotive operation on the B&O rr during the late stage steam era, the modern diesel era of railroading really makes a fair amount of people miss the era when steam power was still a common sight hauling various train consists throughout the nation.

When I was living in fostoria and I would go to that Kroger store, I would wonder why I would feel weird anytime I would ride my bicycle or being a car or with any of my friends. No one in town ever told me that fostoria high School was where Kroger is. As of 2023, I have seen three other schools that are no longer around. Saint wendelin, Longfellow, & one other one that's kind of hidden off of county line. Yes it is sad that buildings have to go but still I hope people were able to grab bricks out of the schools as they came down

My brothers went there for high school. I spent my Freshman year there in the 1969-1970 school year. That's when we moved over to the (then) new high school that was visible from Fountain Cemetery.

This looks like a superior duplex, ambulance, hearse combo. It has jump,seats. Various limo and hearse builders used this chassis from the late 50s. A real iconic clown car as well. Lol.
